Organized Living® receives and processes orders Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays. Weekend and Holiday orders are processed on the next business day.
Delivery Options
Standard Delivery orders are shipped via standard ground service, and generally will arrive in 5-10 business days. For even faster delivery, we offer priority shipping with choices of 3rd Business Day and 2nd Business Day Express Service (only valid on orders placed before 1:00 PM EST Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays). Please note that some items cannot be shipped using priority service. For more information about restrictions for priority service, see below under Furniture and Hazardous items.
Overnight Shipping
For our customers that need an order shipped overnight, please call our customer service department (1-888-674-5484) prior to 1pm EST, and we will gladly place the order for you. Overnight shipping is now only available through phone orders placed by our Customer Service Department. Please note that some items cannot be shipped using priority service.
Shipping Surcharges
Some orders may require additional shipping charges (surcharges) based on size or delivery area. Items with additional shipping surcharges are noted on the product page and in the shopping cart. Please note, if you are interested in purchasing multiple quantities of an item with a surcharge, please contact our customer service department, we will adjust the charges on multiple quantity orders.
Furniture and Oversized items
Some of our larger and heavier items are delivered via Oversized Delivery or Standard Truck Delivery. Additional shipping charges will apply based on the weight of the item. These charges are applied in addition to standard shipping and handling charges for each item. In these instances, our customer service department will contact you before any shipment is made or additional charges are placed on your credit card.
Shipments over 200 pounds may be shipped via Oversized Delivery or Standard Truck Delivery Service. These shipments may take longer than 5-10 business days based on the available delivery carriers. If an order will be delivered via an oversized delivery truck service, you will be contacted to arrange a window of time for home delivery. These items may require your assistance to unload the truck.
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska will incur a minimum surcharge of $30 in addition to the regular shipping costs. Our customer service department reviews all orders shipped to HI and AK and may be in contact with you to discuss your order. Some shipments will take longer than 5-10 business days based on the available delivery carriers. Please note that some products are not able to be shipped to Hawaii or Alaska as they are forbidden on airplanes (see below under Hazardous Items).
Hazardous items
Due to federal and state shipping regulations, some items cannot be shipped via plane. This includes all priority shipping and shipments to Hawaii and Alaska. These items can only be shipped using the Standard Ground delivery service. If your order contains items that must be shipped via ground service and you have chosen priority service, the ENTIRE ORDER will be shipped via ground service, and your credit card will be credited the difference in shipping costs. If a shipment to Hawaii or Alaska contains a Hazardous Item, the Hazardous Item will be removed from the shipment, and your credit card will be credited for the removed item.
Free Shipping Promotions
Please note, even with a free shipping coupon or promotion, we reserve the right to charge additional shipping charges (surcharges) on certain items. Free shipping will not apply to freedomRail Closet Systems, Tvilum-Scanbirk furniture, Libra Solid Wood Shelving and Steel Shelving systems. freedomRail Closet Systems
Closets and Garage systems designed using our Closet Design software may be delivered to your home via a nationwide network of home delivery agents. You will be contacted for a convenient time window to deliver your new closet system, if you select this option. The delivery agent will deliver the closet system into the room of your choice (including one flight of stairs)
