How Color Can Help You Organize

Using color to organize is a sure fire way to QUICKLY locate what you are looking for. Try out these colorful items to help you get organized in a variety of ways throughout your home!

Splash color and order into your closet with colorful hangers. Tubular Hangers come in a variety of colors from lime to tomato. For example, put long sleeve shirts onto blue hangers, short sleeve shirts onto green hangers and hang pants over yellow hangers. This way when you enter the closet and need a short sleeve shirt, your eye will move right to the section of green hangers. Plus, color in the closet can brighten your space and keep you motivated to put things back where they came from.

Photo Storage Boxes also come in a variety of colors, and can be used to store different types of photos (vacations, school events, holidays, etc.). For example, store greeting cards in a green box and extra checks and registries in a red box. The color of the box alone can be a quick reminder where you stored the item.

Lastly, use the Pile Smart File Clips to help keep paper piles in order. I know a pile doesn’t sound orderly, but sometimes our “to do” pile needs order, as well. These clips have the benefit of an actual label, but they also come in different colors, so each category in your pile can be quickly identified.
