Gift Wrapping

Ahhhh, the waiting in line, the rain checks, the traffic…. and we have to wrap all those gifts, too?

Honestly, wrapping gifts is not a favorite activity of mine. I would much rather be clearing the clutter off a counter top or organizing my closet then I would wrapping presents. But, to make things more organized and efficient, I use a few simple items to stay on task.

Figuring out how to store 10 rolls of wrapping paper can make any gift giver consider switching to colored tissue paper and gift bags instead. But I found a great solution. I store my rolls upright in the Gift Wrap Organizer. It holds 10 rolls of wrapping paper and takes up vertical space, which gets an A+ in my book. No more rolls of wrapping paper getting torn and crinkled!

Ribbon can be another gift-wrapping nightmare if it’s not stored in an organized fashion. I use the Ribbon and Bow Organizer. It helps keep the ribbon from getting tangled, and it allows you to dispense ribbon easily from the top of the lid. I love the fact that you can easily get to your ribbon, as well as stack other gift wrapping items on top of the flat lid!

For all the other gift wrapping supplies you have, go with the Stuff Bucket to make organization easy. I chose the dark green color for the season, but it comes in many other cool colors. This is a practical bucket with more pockets then I can even count. It has a handle, which makes it easy to carry to and from your various gift-wrapping projects. I store my scissors, tape, gift tags, pens and stickers in it, and I still have plenty of room for more as I accumulate more gift-wrapping supplies.

I have found that by getting organized, I can wrap gifts quickly, and get to clearing out my closet sooner.

Merry Wrapping!
