How to Organize Your Bedroom

If any room in your home should be orderly, it should be your bedroom. After all, you spend one-third of your life sleeping. Make your bedroom a tranquil retreat for restoration of the mind, body and soul after a long day’s work by applying these clutter-free ideas to your space.

I recommend getting the Century Works Medium Chrome Basket and keeping it right by your bed. It’s great for storing those items that tend to pile up on the bedside table, such as books, tissues, hand lotion, notebooks, pens or a bottle of water. When I’m done using it, I can conveniently slide it under my bed, out of sight.

Speaking of under the bed, please use that hidden storage space wisely - it’s a bedroom treasure. Use Bed Risers to gain an extra six inches of storage space. If you have a king size bed, buy 2 sets of risers - four risers for each corner of the bed and two risers for extra support in the center of the bed.

I also like to use the Jumbo Under Bed Storage Bag made of heavy vinyl, with a zipper. It has great, flexible dividers that allow you to store different items in the same bag without getting them co-mingled. It’s perfect for storing extra blankets or out-of-season clothing because it keeps out odor and dust.

After dealing with the world’s clutter all day, come home and give yourself the indulgence of a clutter-free bedroom.

Happy Organizing,
