Organizing the Kid’s Playroom

When you’re organizing a playroom, there’s no one better to consult with than your own child. I let my oldest son, Noah, help me pick out products to keep his toys organized. Kids like to know where their toys are, so be sure to include them in the sorting process. They can tell you what they play with and what they don’t.

Noah loved the Children’s Wood Frame Storage Unit. The bins don’t have lids, so he can easily see what is in each bin, grab a favorite toy and go!

Noah thought the wheels on the Stacking Basket with Wheels were great. He loves to combine several different toys to “create” his own inventions, so having something that made it easy to transport toys from one room to another delighted him. I like the quick clean up factor when unexpected guests stop in!

Another great product is the 3-Drawer Storage Chest, which gives Noah three different drawers to store his toys in. The clear fronts and sides allow him to see the contents of a drawer without opening it. He even decided to put labels on each drawer (wonder where he learned that from?).

Get your kids involved in the organizing process and you will be amazed at the insights they share.
