Organizing Your Pool or Beach Bag

There’s nothing more relaxing than sitting by the pool – or better yet – by the beach. I take organization with me wherever I go, so it’s only natural that I organize my pool/beach bag. I know what you’re thinking, “I’m on vacation, do I really have to be organized?” Trust me, if you want to ward off stress and spend more time by the pool, this is a surefire way to do it!

1. An organized bag begins with a marvelous tote, such as the Expandable Tote. I love that it has plenty of pockets both inside and outside of the bag. These pockets create convenient places for beach must-haves like sunglasses, suntan lotion and water bottle.

2. Get your hands on the Currency and Passport Organizer to keep credit cards, money, receipts and any other papers organized and DRY! This clever organizer has 5 different pockets that are color coordinated. I use the color-coordinated zippers as visual labels that help me quickly identify where everything is stored. For example, I put cash behind the green zipper and credit cards behind the blue zipper.

3. I also like to add the Cosmetic Cream Jar to my bag so that I can take along a small amount of lotion or cream without having to pack the entire bottle. It helps save space in my bag for extra towels and books.

Now that my bag is organized, I’m off to the pool for some rest and relaxation.
Happy Organizing!
