Get Organized with Free Labels

Created on Dec 18, 2013

Take if from professional organizer, Amanda LeBlanc, labels are key. Every space she organizes, whether it’s toys, closets, pantries or offices, includes them.

We want to help you stay organized too with free labels! Here are a few tricks Amanda uses to adhere them to containers, drawers and bins.

  • Flat surfaces (such as plastic storage containers, cardboard magazine files and drawers): print labels on adhesive paper and cut them out. Place them directly on the container for quick and easy access.
  • Wicker baskets/bins: Print labels on card stock and cut them out. Depending on the label, cut two to four holes around the edges. Then, use ribbon to tie the labels onto wicker baskets.
  • Fabric bins: Amanda recommends that you think "outside of the bin" for this one. She uses carpet tape to attach labels to fabric surfaces and says it works like a charm!

Awesome! Thanks so much. I downloaded the boy labels for toys and put them on adhesive paper. They are perfect. I'll send you a pic when I'm finished with my organizing project.
